In January 2007, I began practicing as a
private health coach and healthy cooking instructor. Having completed the Professional Training Program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, I am certified through Columbia University Teachers College and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners
as a Holistic Nutrition Counselor.
Through coaching, classes and workshops, I support
men and women in a variety of health goals such as losing weight, increasing energy, enhancing fertility and eating for a
healthy pregnancy.
Because nutrition is still an evolving science, I keep up on the latest diets
and changes in the food supply industries, as well as how food relates to our biochemistry, our psychology, our culture and
our entertainment. It is important and helpful to recognize how these aspects are connected.
Having
grown up in a culture that celebrates the pleasure of eating good food, I believe that healthy eating should never come at
the expense of good taste! As a self-taught home cook, I am constantly experimenting in the kitchen on new recipes;
looking for the perfect balance between healthful nourishment and fulfilling flavor.
